Richard Bielik is a graduate of the Prague Hotel School. This innovative and creative chef began his professional career in his native Slovakia, later working in prominent Prague hotels such as Mandarin Oriental, The Grand Mark, Augustine, and Le Palais. His experience also includes working at the Michelin-starred Kitchen W8 in London, as well as in restaurants like La Bottega Tusarova, Café Lounge, and Taro. Most recently, he was part of the team at the Zem restaurant in the Andaz Hotel, contributing to its concept and success from the very beginning.
“I enjoy creative environments and diversity, which is why I decided to take on new professional challenges as the executive chef at ALCRON restaurant. Alcron is an icon for me, a place with a rich tradition and history where many culinary stars have worked,” Richard explains. “I like the way the space looks after renovation and the direction it is heading. It’s a great source of inspiration for me, and it also offers a wide range of possibilities for further development.”
The new menu at Alcron blends seasonality with an innovative approach to local ingredients, as well as global trends and techniques that Richard Bielik favors. The result is a menu of dishes that not only look appealing but also offer rich flavors and refinement—true complexity in every sense.
Richard’s mission is to offer Alcron guests modern cuisine in a welcoming, friendly atmosphere. A place where guests will want to return with family, friends, or business partners and where both meat lovers and vegetarians can enjoy delicious dishes. In addition to the permanent menu, which will change regularly based on ingredient availability and current inspiration, the lunch menu will also remain available.
