At the iconic Almanac X Alcron Prague, every detail turns into an experience – from architecture and taste to scent. Design here is not only about aesthetics, but about the emotions it evokes. Starting October 8, 2025, this philosophy takes shape in the new project Alcron Bar X Qubus, blending the world of high-end mixology with Czech conceptual design.

Through a year-long collaboration between Alcron Bar and studio Qubus, a concept was created that transforms the bar into a gallery of contemporary design. Iconic objects, sculptures, and interior accents by Jakub Berdych Karpelis form a unique installation that combines elegance, playfulness, and character. The bar’s atmosphere is redefined by golden niches, collectible objects, and porcelain artifacts from Qubus’s legendary collections.

The project also introduces three signature cocktails, created in collaboration with Marcela Straková, curator and art manager of Qubus. Each has its own story, flavor, and original design vessel:

Caffee Banana – a bold interpretation of Espresso Martini with silky banana cream, tonka bean, and amaro. Served in the Sommelier glass from Qubus’s Fast collection.

Unexpected – inspired by a real hotel story about a found crocodile. Combines rum, oat falernum, red currant, and cynar. Served in the iconic golden GoodWater porcelain mug.

Bloom Berry – a refreshing non-alcoholic cocktail with raspberries, chamomile, and non-alcoholic gin. Served in a limited-edition red-lacquered glass, crafted exclusively for Alcron Bar.

The installation continues the successful collaboration showcased in the hotel lobby, where the iconic StarQuiola vases from 2016 are once again on display – a tribute to Czech glass craftsmanship and designer Patricia Urquiola, guest of honor at this year’s Designblok.

Art objects and signature drinks can be enjoyed at Alcron Bar throughout the year. This experience can be further complemented by the exhibition Qubus: The Beautiful Beast at the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague, held from November 19, 2025, to March 2026.
