This autumn, the first to showcase his culinary skills at Alcron will be Michal Konrád on 4th October. Michal brings with him a wealth of international experience. Upon returning to his native Slovakia, he became the head chef of the concept pan-Asian restaurant Fou Zoo in Bratislava at just 26 years old. Later, he co-founded Bao Brothers with friends, transitioning from the popular luxury restaurant scene to the vibrant world of street food. The menu Michal has designed for his guest appearance at Alcron is diverse and varied, featuring a range of exotic as well as familiar flavors. It blends Asian and European cuisines and is sure to captivate with its unconventional flavor combinations, offering a rewarding gastronomic experience for all food lovers.

On 28th November, you can indulge in a menu by one of Slovakia’s finest chefs, Jozef Breza. Jozef spent many years as the sous chef at the Grand Hotel Kempinski in the Tatras. He is currently cooking at the under-Tatra restaurant Gašperov Mlyn, which has a unique concept and operates solely on alternative energy sources. Jozef will present the philosophy of his restaurant through a tasting menu based on the seasonal offerings of Slovak and under-Tatra nature. The menu will also include ingredients that the restaurant’s team preserved, fermented, and pickled over the summer. All this will be delivered in Jozef’s signature style, bringing Gašperov Mlyn to Prague, even if only from afar.

The last of the three chefs is Martin Záhumenský, who whill show his magic on 13th December. Martin is a talented chef with extensive international experience, having worked in Cyprus, the UK, and running a restaurant in Tuscany for six years. He was also one of the mentors of the current Alcron head chef, Richard Bielik. The menu that Martin Záhumenský is preparing for Alcron is a showcase of his signature dishes. Guests unfamiliar with him will have the chance to easily form an opinion on his cooking style, which has been continually evolving over his two decades of experience. “Alcron is an icon to me. When I hear its name, I immediately think of its history and the tradition of its golden days. I am very pleased that this era of Alcron is rightfully returning, and this unforgettable place is coming back into the spotlight,” Martin concludes.

The menus of all guest chefs will feature four courses, including two types of amuse-bouche and one petit fours.
